How to launch .unity3d games?

Some of the older games on this website were created in .unity3d format. Unfortunately a few years ago web browsers stopped supporting NPAPI, which acted as a foundation for Unity’s builds launchable inside the browser.

BUT! There are solutions. Here you can find the, imo, easiest one!

  1. Download & install Unity Web Player from here.

As there’s no official download page anymore, you can download it from or anywhere on the internet.

  1. Download & install Gameload (as a standalone app – not the browser extension).

Alternatively it’s also hosted here, just in case.

  1. Double-click the .unity3d file to launch it. That’s it!

Any version of Firefox that is Firefox 52 or older supports Unity web browser games.

It’s not easy to find and I didn’t succeed in launching Unity Web Player with it. But a lot of people did, so take your chances!
